GREAT SCOTT Wins the
Jockey Club of Turkey Cup in Malaysia

Penang Turf Club, member of Malayan Racing Association, hosted the Jockey Club of Turkey Cup on 31st July 2016. GREAT SCOTT (Face Value / Private Star) owned by Chong Linda Joyce won the race with its jockey  App. J. Daniel.

12 thorougbreds participsated in the race held on 1400 meters and TIDAL WAVE  finished the race as second and followed by TRIPLE ONE D'BEST and HELLO SAYANG.

The finish time for the winner was 1.22.90, while the margins were 1 L- 1 L - 1 L.

Mr. Ekrem Beşerler, Executive Board Member of the Jockey Club of Turkey presented a cup to Chong Linda Joyce.

Mrs. Evelyn Beşerler, wife of Mr. Ekrem Beşerler, presented a plate to the winning trainer and Mr. Okan Özeren, International Affairs Manager of the Jockey Club of Turkey presented a plate to the winning jockey App. J. Daniel.

Dato Ong Eng Khuan, President of Penang Turf Club and Mr. Ekrem Beşerler exchanged gifts in commemoration of the day.

Horse owner and breeder Mr. Gurur Tulgar, son of TJK’s Permanent Member Mr. Hücum Tulgar also participated to the Ceremony with his wife Şeyma Tulgar.
