DOLIANOVA Wins the Jockey Club of Turkey Cup in France

Jockey Club of Turkey Cup was held in Paris at Saint - Cloud Racecourse on 29th September 2017. DOLIANOVA (Rock of Gibraltar – Daltama / Indian Ridge) owned by Aga Khan and trained by Alain De Royer Dupre won the race with its jockey Christophe Soumillon.

The race was held on turf track on 1600 meters with the participation of 17 thoroughbreds of 3 yo. CATALOUNIYA (Siyouni – Conti Di Luna / Anabaa Blue) finished the race as second and followed by NAMASJAR (Rajsaman - Dame Phanie / Kaldoun) and GOLDEN RAIN (Siyouni – Pluie D’or / Bering).

DOLIANOVA won the first prize of 11.500 Euro with a finish time of 1.43.19. The margins of the race were as follow: Neck – 4 ¼ Lenght – 5 ¾ Lenght.

DOLIANOVA started its racing career at the age of 3 at Chantilly Racecourse and got her first victory after its successful performance at the Jockey Club of Turkey Cup, which is the 7^th start of DOLIANOVA’s racing career.

Mr. Görkem Barış Tantekin, Consul General of Turkey in Paris, presented a cup to the winning horse trainer, Mr. Alain De Royer Dupre on behalf of the horse owner.

 

Mr. Tantekin presented a plate to the winning trainer Mr. Alain De Royer Dupre as well.

Mr. Tuncel Aydın, General Manager of the Jockey Club of Turkey, presented a plate to the winning jockey Christophe Soumillion.

Mr. Burak Konuk, Asistant General Manager of the Jockey Club of Turkey, presented a plate on behalf of the breeder of the winning.
