Win River Win (Virginia Rapids-Thirty Zip), signed another success at his second start at Nad El Sheba racecourse.

In “Derrinstown Stud Burj Nahaar” Stakes which was run on 1600 meters dirt track by 16 thoroughbreds on 02^nd March 2006, successful Turkish Thoroughbred Win River Win was placed  second with his Jockey Halis Karataş by 01:37:09  while  Marbush won  the race by  01:35:79 time.

Opportunist placed third and Emerald Beauty placed fourth in the competition which was for 90-115 rated 4 year old and up Northern Hemisphere bred and 3 year old and up Southern Hemisphere bred   thoroughbreds By placing second Win River Win won   US $ 40   as prize money.

The total purse was US $ 200.000 in the race, and the stakes were distributed as US $130.000 for the winner, 40.000 for the second, 20.000 for the   third and 10.000 for the fourth.

The race was shown live on TJK TV.

We asked the opinion of Selçuk San regarding to the condition of Sabırlı. He commented why Sabırlı was unable to run at this race: “Total 10 horses are allowed to run in this group, because, the track is narrowed by 7 meters. Even though some horses were drawn out unfortunately we could not participated. On the 9^th of March, there are three races we can participate. We will run at one of these three races after we will evaluate our competitors.”

Grand Ekinoks is also being expected to run on the Thursday, 9^th of March.
