Yonaguska Dies

“YONAGUSKA”, the stallion owned by the Jockey Club of Turkey, died on 25th May 2017 at the Torbali Covering Station in Izmir due to heart attack.

The stallion born in 1998, achieved 6 wins, 1 second and 5 third placements in the 18 starts of its racing career and earned 536.355 USD. Starting its stud career in USD in 2003, Yonaguska was purchased by the Jockey Club of Turkey in 2010 and put into the service of Turkish Breeders within the same year.

Yonaguska is the sire of 109 individual winners of the 186 starters in Turkey. Total prize money obtained by his progenies is 22.584.565 TL, as of 25th May 2017.
