AKBAR L’ATLAS Wins Jockey Club of Turkey Cup in Morocco

Jockey Club of Turkey Trophy was hosted by SOREC in Casablanca on 18 November 2018, as a part of Morocco International Meeting.

AKBAR L’ATLAS (Akbar – Salidja de Chaillac / Tidjani) owned by Kamal Daissaoui, trained by Mounir Ajana , won the race with its jockey Zouhair Madihi.

8 Purebred Arabians of 4yo upwards participated in the race with 240.000 Moroccan Dirhem, which was held on dirt track on 1900 meters.  EL QASSIM (D’Jaman – Faena du Cassou / Djouras Tu) finished the race as second and followed by DIDOUFRI AL BORAQ (Al Khair – Muscade du Paon / Djouras Tu) and IGUIDERE ZEMMOUR (Ontario Hf – Ekaterina / Piaff).

AKBAR L’ATLAS, born in 2011 held the 5^th victory of its career at the Jockey Club of Turkey Cup.

Sadettin Atig, Secretary General of the Jockey Club of Turkey, made a presentation at the EMHF Marketing and Educational Seminar, before the Morocco International Meeting.

Ethem Barkan Oz, Republic of Turkey’s Ambassador to Morocco, presented trophies to the winninh circles.

Omar Skalli, CEO of SOREC; Sadettin Atig, Secretary General of TJK; Behcet Homurlu, Board of High Stewars Member, EMHF Vice Chairman and Former President of TJK; Derle Demirel, Undersecretary of the Embassy of Republic of Turkey in Rabat and Okan Ozeren, International Affairs of TJK  participated in the prize ceremony.
